A little bit about the owner...Sadie
Welcome to Posh West!
Sadie has worked in customer service her entire life. Her first job was at Montgomery Ward at 15 years old. She also did an undergrad marketing internship at Von Maur in Yorktown Mall. Sadie worked at Cemeno's Pizza in Joliet as a manager for 15 years, during which she graduated with her undergrad degree in Business Administration. She handled a lot of the HR stuff at Cemeno's while managing her beloved waitstaff. After having twin boys, she went back to school to get a Masters degree in Special Education to help her son, Kale who had been diagnosed with Autism. She successfully worked as a Developmental Therapist in the Early Intervention Program for a few years before her other son, Jaden was diagnosed with a heavy hitter immune deficiency. His dx required her focus and she gave up her DT career. Fast forward a few years and Sadie found herself right back in the retail field! She sold LulaRoe from home for 2 years before going on to start her own online boutique....Posh West (West because that is her last name). Posh West was born in October of 2018 and by May/June of 2019, 852 Sharp Drive in Shorewood was the new home of Posh West. In June of 2023, Posh West celebrated their 5th year on Sharp Drive and in October of 2023, they won Best Boutique in Will County for the 2nd time in recent years! It is an honor to be among the other winning businesses in Shorewood!
